Jana Raphael joined the Business Development Group, Inc. in 2007 as Senior Media Strategist. Prior to joining the team, Jana worked at Sergio Rossi, Gucci Group where she was the Public Relations manager for the US team in charge of all fashion and accessories.  While at Gucci Group, Jana’s main role was to build the brands communications department and corporate image.  In her experience at Sergio Rossi, Jana worked on all editorial press, store openings, press/promotional events, celebrity dressings as well as all print media. Before joining Gucci Group, Jana worked at Escada and ShopPR in various public relations positions and worked on many different accounts such as Revlon, Awake, and VO5.

At the Business Development Group, Inc., Jana is responsible for working closely with clients and all media outlets to ensure proper and consistent press coverage.  She is also responsible for many aspects of account management including media relations and the development of press materials.  Jana’s extensive background in different areas of Public Relations enables her to build media relationships for a variety of clientele.
